Big bosses of social networking Facebook, would open up hundreds of jobs in the next year. Inevitably, this will strengthen the 'forces' Facebook that so far amounted to 3,000 people.
Reportedly, in addition to adding hundreds of employees, Facebook is also ready to form a new team of technicians. City of New York selected sites was made by Mark Zuckerberg to recruit candidates for these employees.
Said Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg, the company would recruit the most reliable technicians in the city nicknamed the Big Apple.
"We will grow as quickly as possible in New York," Sandberg said as quoted by TheAustralian, Monday (05/12/2011). Not only strengthens employee base there, Facebook will also add new technicians at their headquarters in Palo Alto, California, as well as in Seattle.
Sandberg says that the site is 'inhabited' more than 800 million users it does have plans to expand. "We will add hundreds of employees in the next year," he said.
In his own New York office, real Facebook already employs 100 employees, mostly working in marketing and recruitment. And the presence of the new technicians will become one of the most important decisions made Facebook.
Yes, this team is the first team formed up outside the West Coast. "Building the 'forces' technicians outside the West Coast is a big step for us," says Sandberg.
