Nokia Preparing to Fight "iPad"

While the tablet PC market continues to be a struggle for the pembesut gadget since the success of the iPad, Nokia is still pondering a jump participate in this realm. However, Nokia is now slowly beginning to establish his intention is releasing a touch screen computer.

Latest news from Business Week reported on Friday (11.04.2011), Nokia CEO Stephen Elop recently issued a strong statement indicating that the Finnish handset vendor is preparing a tablet for launch.
Not content with renewing the product range through a number of smartphone handsets Windows Phone, Elop said that his company now began to look at the tablet market and consider how likely they could compete with the iPad.

"There is an opportunity for a new tablet to come. We saw an opportunity. No doubt, it will change the dynamics of the tablet market," said Elop. But he did not disclose more details about his plans.

Nokia had known patented tablet that looks similar to the N8. That means, although so far seem not interested in plunging into the tablet computer market, in fact they were never seriously considered making a touch screen-based computer.

Nokia itself in fact, no stranger to the tablet. Nokia claims to have introduced into the world of the internet tablet in 2007 with the release of Nokia N810 and N800. But indeed, the popularity of the new tablet look after Apple released the iPad in 2010.
