Lens M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ will be released for owners of Olympus PEN camera based micro four thirds system (MFT). This lens has a size equivalent to 24-100mm lens on a 35mm camera.
Olympus said it would bring the lens at the end of January next year. Reportedly, this lens is the first Olympus MFT lens that offers an electronic motorized zoom. This means, users do not have to do it manually as in the zoom lens DSLR, though option is also provided.

This lens has been enriched by the presence of a linear motor which is claimed to present a qualified auto focus when the user is doing a video recording. He also already has a macro mode shooting feature complete with a button to turn off the autofocus when necessary.
For shooting in outdoor, penggunapun not have to worry anymore because Olympus MFT lenses are promising that this release he has been resistant to dust and water.
