IBM Takes on Virginia Rometty as First Woman CEO

Leadership changes experienced by the technology giant IBM. Companies from the United States has just appointed a new CEO to replace Sam Palmisano.

Virginia Rometty is believed to be the chief executive officer, as Palmisano decided to retire. Rometty is not a new figure at IBM, he was once known as the senior vice president and group executive for sales, marketing and strategy.

Palmisano said that Rometty successfully led a number of important business of IBM over the past decade. "With every role, Rometty strengthens IBM's ability to integrate IBM dnegan our clients," said Palmisano.
The first female CEO who owned IBM will begin effective work on January 1. Moderate Palmisasno who already served as CEO for almost a decade, will remain in the management of IBM as chairman.

Previously, under the leadership Palmisano success by selling its PC business to Lenovo, and focus on service and market expansion into a number of countries.

Last week, they've just announced an increase in sales and profits. Reported, IBM's profit has increased from year to year as much as 7% so as to reach $ 3.8 billion.
